Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed Devdas starring three brilliant actors Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit, complete 19 years of its release today. Released on July 12, 2002, the movie was a massive hit at the box office and has been still cherished by the moviegoers for the onscreen chemistry of these multi-talented actors. On this day Madhuri taking to her Twitter account, penned a note as she reminisced the memories of this epic movie of her career.

The Dhak Dhak diva in her Tweet thanked the filmmaker for sharing it, her tweet read, “Reminiscing some great and happy memories from the sets of Devdas. Even 19 years later it all feels so fresh! Thank you Sanjay for sharing these. Will Cherish these forever!” She further penned this movie being an ode to legendary late actor Dilip Kumar, stating the legend will be remembered forever just like the movie. “Here’s our ode to #DilipKumar, just like #Devdas, you will continue to live on…forever! #19YearsOfDevdas,” wrote the actress.

Dilip Kumar, Vyjayanthimala and Suchitra Sen starrer Devdas helmed by Bimal Roy was released in 1955.
